Charleston Train Depot - Coles County IL
All these videos were recorded at 30 frames per second using infrared light. Our client describes hearing heavy footsteps from the attic and also hears voices from different areas of the building.
(1) Light moves from upper right hand corner of the door opening, across the opening and door. It comes back across the door near the bottom, makes a 180° turn and disappears.
(2) Note the white dot in the upper left portion of this photo. We were in the basement and I saw two flashes in the same area. One trails off to the left for about 2' and the other to the right for about 2'. They happen quickly one after the other. We captured one flash in one frame (1/30th of a second). Because it happens so quickly, in the first part of the video I have cut a clip in slow motion. The flash is at 22:11:32. The second part is playing in real time speed. At about 22:13:26 I describe and point to the area where I think I saw something. Christi confirms that she had seen the same.
(3) On the left portion of this picture at about the middle, you see a tear drop shape. Behind the shape is a window leaning against a shelf. In the window there is what looks like a backwards "L" shape that appears to be reflection from the tear drop flash. This happens very quickly and is captured in only one fame (1/30th of a second). This video is in slow motion and it happens at about 23:53:54.
(4) In the attic at the back wall to the middle left side of this picture you can see a white dot. Watch this as it comes down to the walkway and then travels along the right side of the walkway toward the camera. It makes a 90º turn to the right and disappears. It is hard to determine if this is only dust, but because of its path and its appearance of mass we feel it is something else.
(5) In the attic at the back wall, a form materializes and moves down the walkway toward the camera. At first we thought this was pixelation. After reviewing this several times, because of the deliberate path, we think it may be something else.
St. Omer Cemetery - Coles County IL
Note the white ball at lower left side of the tree. We (the two of us) are taking photos back and to the left. Shortly after the camera flash you will see a white ball form to the front of the tree and move to the back. I saw this anomaly another time in a different part of the graveyard this night. In the video note the white dot at the right side of this frame. In the first part of the clip a bird or bat flies through that same area. It provides a good example or how the ir light reflects off an animal or bug. When I first watched this I thought it was a bug until I compared it to the bird\bat. It seems to generate its own light. At first the look, we thought this was a dust particle reflecting the cameras infrared light. After watching this clip a little closer, it looks like the light follows the form of the wall as it exits the screen. No one was in that room when this occurred.
